Me and my little buddies had our own Easter egg hunt this evening......it started in the hen house.   They wanted to greet you and tell you Happy Spring!!!

We wondered around the yard and gathered more.....they wanted to be included in the pictures....so, they followed me around for a bit.

They even got a bit curious at times and wanted to play with the eggs...so, I threw a few on the ground and they pecked around......I wonder what they would have done if I'd left a few in their nesting boxes.  Ha.

I love spring.  It's such a refreshing time of the year and so colorful ......for a little bit....as long as the Texas heat holds off.

I hear we are supposed to have another frost......I'm sure it's the last one for the season.   Until then, I'll enjoy this nice Spring-like weather..for as long as it holds out.

Maybe me and the hens will capture a few more neat little shots until the glory of the buds fades away.

Over and out,

Mrs. Rogers
