My heart stopped....well, almost....but, I did actually lose my breath for a second...or two....maybe three.  Who knows...I was in my own little world.

French blue and white hydrangeas.....my favorite flower in the whole world....and believe me, I love a lot of flowers. But, these, they take the cake, make the cake, eat the cake, are the cake....icing on the cake.

Okay, I'll stop.

The only flowers in the floral dept. like this.   Of course, there were the typical pink ones and some white....but, these.   These HAD to come home.

They were crying out...."we know you want us....we know you need us for your next photo prop."

How did they know?????????

God sit them there just for me.  Literally for just me.  I'll not imagine it any other way.  It was a God thing.

Big, bold and blue....and beautiful.   They have delighted my soul today.

I put them in my basket and of course, carried them around like a rich little lady in the market.....(too bad I didn't have on matching shoes today and a cute little hat....)

Yes, I'm sure you caught the latter part of that last statement.

I did it again.

I couldn't be more embarrassed.

I'm afraid it's becoming a problem.

Maybe it's because I don't have enough light inside the house?????????

Maybe it's because I don't have a full-length mirror any more to make sure I don't have things hanging off of me that aren't a part of my outfit....or to check and see if my shoes match.

Oh, by the way, I did go to town the other day with a stick hanging from my hair in the back.

Yeah... A TREE!!!!!

I'm seriously having issues.

But, no matter.   I brought home french blue n white hydrangeas today.

My day is complete now.

Over and out,

Mrs. Rogers
