Driving through the park late one evening. We had been on the lookout for the elk.
We had just left a scene where a lone bull and his harem were feasting on their evening meal before scuffling off to bed down some place on the hill side behind Dornan's.
Often enough I had ample opportunities to capture movement of the clouds that streamed along the mountaintops.
This particular evening brought unique pastels to the sky and the clouds.
Dewayne pulled us over and I began to fire away......
This first shot is my favorite of the three....that's why I posted it first.
So, I carry on with these thoughts in mind when I look back at these photos....
I love when the peaks make their grand entrance and remind us they are there.

This is a reminder to me that God Himself is the Master Artist. At His best.
Artists, such as myself, have tried to recreate images such as these.....on canvas or photograph....and there is no way possible that it can be done.
I don't care how good of an artist one can be, in whatever avenue of creativity. A replica of this unique talent that God Himself holds.... is......not able to be done.
It's His work that makes the entire world stop and stare or stand in awe. Why? Because He's just THAT good.
If you enjoyed a sunrise or a sunset today.....He made you stop and stare....or snap a pic on your cell phone. Rather you realized it or not, you stood in awe of Him and admired His handiwork.
My work may not ever make the entire world stop in amazement, or shutter with goose bumps at an image.
But, God is a head-turner.
Hands down.
No amount of cloning can recreate the kind of artistic presence He holds in His hands.
No amount of reinventing can create a miracle that He can create in an instant of time.

These are simple reasons why I stop and stare at the sky when it's vastly flooded with colors or at the very presence of a mountain so big that it makes me feel so small at its feet.
And then to think that the Bible says He can move the mountains.
How can that be????
Simple.
He is God.
Enough said.

Sorry, if you don't agree or see life around you as His handiwork.
That simply doesn't stop the fact that He is always at work.
Rather He is working on moving a mountain, or removing something from us that no longer needs to be there. He is still working.
You got up this morning...didn't you???
He is still working.
You are reading this blog....aren't you???
He is still working.
He's got the whole world in His hands.
Happy trails to you.
Over and out.
